Monique Brandonisio serves as an Assistant Principal at Kimball Hill School in Community Consolidated School District 15. She brings over 12 years of experience in education, having served as both an ESL teacher and an ESL coordinator. Throughout her career, Monique has been deeply committed to advocating for multilingual learners and the Latino community, with a strong focus on creating inclusive, equitable learning environments where all students and families feel valued and supported.

As an ESL teacher, Monique supported students’ language development while honoring their cultural identities and lived experiences. In her role as an ESL coordinator, she partnered closely with educators, administrators, and families to strengthen instructional practices, improve systems of support, and expand access to high-quality learning opportunities for multilingual learners across the school community.

Driven by a desire to make an even greater impact, Monique stepped into school leadership to influence change at a broader, systems-level. As an assistant principal, her leadership centers on instructional excellence, positive school climate and culture, equity-driven practices, and collaborative leadership. She is passionate about building strong partnerships with staff and families to create student-centered schools where every child has the opportunity to thrive.
